  They took great care of our car and did what was asked for. There were some potential repairs highlighted, and they were very considerate as to pointing out what was urgent and what they would just wait-and-see on. They felt highly trustworthy to me. Thanks guys.

  Unlike our 1-Star friend, "Len Haz", I've always found Ralph's Garage to be competitive on price, even with the quoting of imports and the quality of work. The team have always been informative and polite, as well as well-educated on the best way to proceed. Their team is fantastic to deal with in every respect. Truly passionate people.

  Had a general service completed. The guys were timely, professional and gave me a complete assessment of my car. They also sourced out a part that I need, plus quotes on all short term future maintenance and repairs that will be required.

  Simmo is a lovely, friendly bloke who has built a great team. When they call to tell me how much a bigger job will cost, they sound apologetic and it it is always less than I expect. They always explain their work with complete transparency. Highly recommended, including for women, LGBTIQ folks, and people concerned about their budget.

  I highly recommend Ralph’s garage. I have found them to great to deal with. Very professional, good quality work, good communication and very friendly. I also really like that they aren’t pushy when it comes to pressuring you into repairs. Keep up the great work!!

  Surprisingly rude and unhelpful:
  
  Me: "Could you please fix the brakes, they are v noisey"
  --2 days later--
  Bearded man: "okay we've checked it, here's the printed diagnosis, that'll be $50"
  Me: "Cool, is it fixed then?"
  Him: "No"
  Me: "Can you fix it?"
  Him: "Uh, yes, I suppose"
  Me: "How much will that be?"
  Him: (Looking annoyed that I would ask such a question) "I don't know, I would have to write up another quote"
  Me: "Ballpark?"
  Him: "$200"
  Me: "When can you do it?"
  Him: "I'll have to schedule that in, maybe some time next week"
  Me: "Goodbye forever."
  
  I read the reviews on here and thought it was going to be a positive experience, but it really wasn't. Other friends seem to have gone through a similar ordeal with them. On the lookout for another mechanic in West End.
